FRÉDÉRIC CHOPIN 

Frédéric François Chopin (born Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin ( 1 March 1810, Warschau – 17 October 1849, Paris) was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period, who wrote primarily for solo piano. He maintained a worldwide reputation as the leading composer of his time, whose "poetic genius was based on a professional technique unparalleled in his generation".

Frédéric Chopin's music is like poetry written for the piano - intimate, emotional, elegant and deeply expressive. He is one of those composers whose work not only sounds beautiful, but also feels personal.

AT 2 P.M.

Frédéric Chopin and George Sand (Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin) shared a deep personal and artistic connection that significantly influenced Chopin’s music and emotional life. During their time together (1838–1847) at Nohant, Sand’s countryside estate, Chopin composed many of his most famous works, This includes also Nocturnes.  In the same time George Sand wrote her historical novel Consuelo, first published in 1842–43.
